Sandi Russell is the producer and co-writer of AT LAST. As an integral part of the team, Sandi acted as the on-set writer making necessary changes to the script as schedule or weather problems arose. Due to Russell's intimate understanding of the script, she worked closely with the costume designer and script supervisor. On set daily while shooting, Russell and Anton conferred through-out the film-making process. Her organizational skills and work ethic contributed to Russell's producing role success. Russell's background as a director of a Crisis Pregnancy Center, being responsible for the training and the ongoing education of sixty counselors translated well to the business of film-making. Interacting with counselors as well as clients, Sandi developed interpersonal and communication skills which were beneficial to the producing process. Coupled with the writing and re-writing of the screenplay over a period of five years was instrumental in developing the writing skills needed to achieve a concise and marketable screenplay. Sandi has independent judgment, a high degree of resourcefulness and pays close attention to detail. Russell's capacity to work with a diverse population was of great value while interacting with actors and crew on the set.
